Chicken neurons are used as a model system to elucidate neurological disorders, such as Parkinson's disease. The Nucleofector technology is providing a new insight that will enable you to learn more about neurodegenerative diseases using this in vitro model system.
- Transfection efficiencies of more than 30%
- Transgene expression for more than one week
- Maintenance of morphological and functional properties
- One Nucleofector Kit for dorsal root ganglia and
hippocampal neurons
Transfection efficiency of chicken dorsal root ganglion neurons.
Primary chicken dorsal root ganglion neurons were nucleofected with program O-03 and 3 μg of a plasmid encoding the enhanced green fluorescent protein eGFP. 48 hours post nucleofection, the cells were analyzed by fluorescence microscopy.
