«Are clonal variations a concern when working with Jurkat cells?»

Different Jurkat subclones derived from different sources may have divergent features and display an extremely high genetic instability. Due to this variety between different Jurkat clones, optimal nucleofection® conditions may vary for each clone. We strongly recommend the use of the Jurkat clones E6-1 (ATCC® TIB-152™) or ACC 282 (DSMZ) and following the respective optimized protocol. If you are using a clone from a different or an unknown source, we recommend using the Cell Line Optimization Kit to determine the best conditions for your clone or contact our Scientific Support Team for further recommendations.
