Details for amaxa FAQ article #134

«What kind of suspension CHO cells did you use for protein production?»

The data we show in our application note for protein production was generated with 2 different suspension CHO clones. This protocol tested for the suspension CHO clones provided by ECACC [Cat. No. 102307] and from Invitrogen, CHO-S Cells, SFM Adapted [Cat no # 11619-012].

Please use the recommended medium for the Invitrogen cells:
CD CHO Medium (Invitrogen; Cat. No. 10743) with 10 ml/l HT Supplement (Invitrogen; Cat. No. 11067) and 8 mM L-Glutamine
