«I followed the protocol, but I observed low viability with my hepatocytes. What should I do?»

A major point which influences cell viability of hepatocytes after nucleofection® seems to be the isolation procedure (e.g. buffers, etc.) so, be sure to follow the isolation procedure recommended in the optimized protocol. Low viability post nucleofection can also mean that something might be "wrong" with the medium used (e.g., medium too old, different culture medium). Supplemented hepatocyte medium should be made fresh every two weeks.
