Lonza Closes Acquisition of amaxa

Lonza Group (SWX:Lonn) announces that it has completed the acquisiton of amaxa as of 2 July 2008. This deal significantly strengthens the Cell Discovery business of Lonza by complementing and expanding the existing portfolio.
